Born and raised in San Francisco, this is what you get when you influence an ‘80s kid with the Bay Area’s graffiti, music, cannabis, and food cultures of the ‘90s.
My name is Tone. I’m 44 years old, I’ve spent my whole life here in the Bay Area—and I’ve been playing with fire for most of it.
I spent the majority of my career in California’s cannabis industry. With nearly 30 years of experience, I developed deep expertise in cultivation, wholesale, retail, marketing, and consulting. I built a respected brand and cultivated a strong network that includes many of the industry's top producers.
Among my peers, I’ve always been known for holding the highest standards when it comes to quality — and that’s where STR8FLAME was sparked.
The standards I have for the food being served off this truck? No different!
I’ve known the difference between food and good food for as long as I can remember. I’ve (kindly) sent more plates back to the kitchen than anyone I know — or anyone they know. To me, food service should deliver satisfaction 100% of the time.
I sat on the idea of starting a food truck for damn near 15 years. Eventually, I got tired of wondering — and took this leap- I've changed careers completely.
With help from my son John, my daughter Jade, and a few great friends, this is a 100% family-owned operation — driven by passion and executed with pride.
We’re beyond excited to bring our version of a dope food truck to the Bay Area streets — packed with our favorite recipes and shared with people who love good food as much as we do.
